How it plays
Obstacles roll down the road towards Risky, starting small at the horizon and growing as they come. Tap the left or right half of the screen to jump-roll that way. Four jumps take you all the way across the road, and tapping again mid-jump chains straight into another one.
Survive until the progress bar at the top fills and the level is complete. Collect nuts along the way — ten on every level — and the game remembers your best haul for each one.
Curled up mid-jump, Risky is a smaller target than he is standing still. Keeping moving is often safer than holding a lane.
The game is landscape only
Risky Road is built to be held sideways. If the picture does not rotate, check that portrait orientation lock is off in Control Centre.
Turning the music or sound off
Both are on the settings screen, reachable from the gear button on the title screen, with a separate volume slider for the music. The choice is remembered.
My progress disappeared
Progress is saved on the device itself rather than to an account, so deleting and reinstalling the app clears it, and it does not follow you to a new device. There is no way for us to restore it, because we never had a copy.
